Michelle knows exactly how to help lawyers find purpose and meaning in their legal careers.
After working in and around law firms for over 15 years, I know firsthand that it takes more than just intellect and strong credentials to succeed as a lawyer today.
I love working with lawyers to help them create and execute strategies that will help them build a sustainable and satisfying legal career.
I have a unique understanding of the challenges that go along with being a lawyer. Not only have I worked with lawyers from over 50 law firms and organizations and virtually all practice areas, I worked as a litigator for an AmLaw100 firm, a Fortune 50 company, and as the number two lawyer for a privately held company. So, I get it.
And I would love to help you get it, too.
I earned a JD with Honors from The George Washington University Law School, and a BA in American Studies from Fordham University. I trained as a coach through the Philosophy IB Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance Program.
I literally "wrote the book" on business development for lawyers, and I speak frequently about how lawyers can create their own success for organizations such as the D.C. Bar, the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) Professional Development Institute, the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), and various law firms, law schools, and legal departments. I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coach Federation, and a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), DISC, and EQ-i 2.0 facilitator.
I live in Washington, DC, with my family, but work with lawyers all over the country via video chat or phone.
